I am Sarah Jane
My name on the nanowrimo is "the sarah jane", as I am not as quick as Sarah Jane, who beat me to it.

I completed (success!) nano in 2004, taking up the challenge to write a story that I had only ever told verbally to friends at an IHOP. I didn't finish the entire novel in 2004, however, so I took it up again last year and failed at about 45,000 words. I had a good 10,000 more in me, but lost the desire.

In 2006 I completed the nano challenge on paper with the story of an indentured assassin named Eric. My subsequent move to VaGinIa left me without the will to type it up, much to the irritation of the people that were following along with the first few posts I made before finishing by hand.

In 2007 the goal WAS to actually post what I wrote in 2006, and continue Eric's trip down the rabbit hole with another 50k. Much like trying to figure out if you can leave a room without getting any blood on your shoes, unforseen variables had their way with my intentions.

So the goal for 2008 is the same as 2007. Eric is tapping on the back of my brain, telling me it's time to let him kill again. We'll see how this goes.
